I have gone to face 2 face for my second appointment, and I love the laid-back atmosphere. The website looks a little like a soft-core porn site, which is very clever and easy on the eyes! My waxing service was the best I've ever had. I'm sensitive and prone to ingrowns, and I had the sugaring Brazilian. My skin was not irritated after, which is a first for me. I highly recommend this spa, and am considering switching all my spa services to face2face.

I got the "smooth operator" body waxing with Diane. She was fantastic. I never felt uncomfortable at all, and you could tell that she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. The spa may seem a bit pricey, but to me it is well worth it. I will be returning soon!

This was my first time waxing below the waist and it was surprisingly relaxing. Enrique was very professional and thorough. If I have one negarive comment, it's that I had to wait about 20 minutes. Not a big deal to me, but it could be an issue if you schedule back-to-back appointments. Otherwise, AMAZING and I can't wait to go back.

Having lived in NYC until 5 years ago, I always indulge in treatments when I go back to NYC, except all the places I used to go have closed down. Tried Face to Face I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff was and how well trained they were. The No Borders Massage was exactly what it said it was -- Deep Tissue and relaxing techniques. I felt awesome afterward and wanted to book another one! I will try their sugaring next time in NYC.

Emmanuel spent a great deal of time on my worst knots in my neck and legs with a lot of pressure. Most massages I've had are too gentle. He was able to keep the firm pressure for the entire 1.5 hours.

The Spa was Clean and Welcoming and Enrique was lovely. But after having my Brazilian w/landing strip I realized that the strip is completely off center (came home and waxed myself to correct) and there is quite a bit of hair left near the back door. The main area is fine and he was quite fast and lovely to speak to. Possibly the other places I have been just do a larger area on the bum. I recommend highly, just make sure everything is done to your specification before you leave.

I signed up for the combination: a facial and back massage. I arrived at 4p and didn't leave until 7p. In between I was pampered and treated to a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Enrique is a pro and knows what he is doing! The massage was wonderful. He found all of my knots and worked them free. Then he went to work giving me a spectacular facial. I found out about Face to Face's Autumn Rub through Time Out NY's coverage of Spa Week. I signed up for it, and when I got there, there was no signage for the spa on the outside of the building. I got a 60 minute massage, not an Autumn Rub. Not sure where the miscommunication happened. Masseur seemed rushed, massage was okay (I've had better). Receptionist was flighty.

When you first enter, the receptionist greets you usually by your name....very nice. Atmosphere is relaxing and tranquil. Enrique uses long, smooth strokes which helped me to relax by the end of the session. Occasionally his pressure was too hard (on bone), and he reduced this when I asked. I was pleased with his professionalism and with the atmosphere of the clinic. The two aspects I would like to see happen differently are: 1. Enrique was 10 minutes late, without explanation, so he loses points there; and 2. He neglected to talk with me very much upfront to understand my pain and session goals.

Facial Fan

I got my facila from enrique and I have to say it was really good. I usually try to get facial once a month. This one was little different as they dont use steam but it was actually better then getting steam which is sometimes to hot. Facial was very good and lots of extractions as thats how is prefer it. Intially had some problems with the appointment as I had to reschedule it twice due to a emergency but later it worked out ok. Enrique's hands are really good. Would recommend it .

I was given a massage by Enrique as a birthday present. I have had many massages in my life and I will have to say that Enrique's bodywork was near perfect. Great touch-just the right amount of pressure. The only change I would make is some message to chest and stomach. Other staff were very nice, too!!

A friend offered to come be a guest at Face to Face. Normally I'm not a spa person, so right away I was a little reluctant. I was offered treatments like waxing and anal bleaching, but did ultimately choose to go with a simple facial. Next time I will surely be more open to trying some of the more drastic procedures ;-) Enrique is very polite, professional and thorough. The place was small, personal yet very clean. I can't wait to come back!

Everything Enrique does is with incredible professionalism. His facials are the best i have ever had and his attention to detail is unparalled. Waxings are never painless but he convinces you they are and he is almost right. Again his attention to detail, who know hair grew in places he waxes and no i am not even thinking of the obvious. And then to top it off, the staff's massages are a perfect ending. Face to Face is a lucky find.

Althought it is not one of the biggest spas, it is definitely very New York and comforting. The past few times I have gone, the massages have fantastic. It is a bit pricier than others and I wish they had a frequent guest program like some others. Besides, any place that offers wine to its customers, is good for me!

I started going to Face to Face at the recommendation of a friend for waxing. They were at a different location and just getting off the ground. Even with expansion and getting insanely busy, they still make me feel special. I have gotten waxing and massage and plan to get a facial at some point. Enrique and Diane are both amazing (I'm sure everyone else is, too - I just haven't had them) and I can't imagine going anywhere else!

i've been twice now and enrique gives a fantastic (i.e. meticulous, doesn't miss a thing...not one) brazilian wax. it's a cute little place with great ambience, and it's nice and clean. i've already sent one friend there and highly recommend it to everyone. though i haven't had any other services, i assume it would all be great.
